Day 1

Situated at 1,600m above sea level with unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains, you’re often up above the clouds watching veils of mist clinging to the mountain tops. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji/Strobilanthes.

    This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years, will bloom next in 2018. On the way to Munnar visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls.     Jewish Synagogue - a 400-year old synagogue. Enter the synagogue & the large main hall arrests your attention with display of rare antique objects that add to the grandeur of the place.

    Secondly, The St. Francis Church well-known for its beautiful architecture & ambience & is believed to be one of the oldest churches built by the Europeans in India.

    Santa Cruz Basilica - (at extra cost) one of the eight Basilicas in India, this church is one of the finest & most impressive churches & visited by tourists the whole year round.

    Vasco House (built in the Portuguese style of architecture) is believed to be the house where Vasco Da Gama stayed during his visits to Kochi, right until his death in 1524.

    Later visit Fort Kochi beach & Chinese Fishing Nets - Nowhere else in India could you find such giant fishing nets from China. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay at Hotel.

Cancellation Policy for Land Package:

Cancellation received 31 days or more before the tour start date: 20% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation received between 16 to 30 days before the tour start date: 50% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation received between 6 to 15 days before the tour start date: 75% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation received between 0 to 5 days before the tour start date: 100% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as a cancellation fee.

Peak Season Time:

Prices can fluctuate during peak season dates. (Christmas, New Year and any events).

Booking Policy:

30% Payment Required for the Booking Confirmation.
Balance payment to be paid 7 days before arrival or as decided by mutual understanding.

Important Notes:

Check-In Time 02:00 Hours (Noon) | Check-out time 12:00 Hours at all the properties.
No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
No changes in the date of travel once booked.
Usual vehicle used are Air Conditioned Sedan (Indigo/Etios/Dzire etc) for 2-3 pax; SUV (Innova/Xylo/Ertiga etc) for 4-6 Pax For 7 or above Tempo traveller
Child below 5 Years of age will be complimentary.
AC will be switched off during up-hill drives and at certain other times.
Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
The booked vehicle will be provided, but extra charges will apply if additional or upgraded vehicles are needed due to travelers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
The vehicle is available for use between 7 am to 7 pm, covering sightseeing and journey time. If you plan to use it beyond 7 pm, there will be extra charges, or you'll need to arrange transportation on your own.
Note that most hotels in Munnar offer only non-AC rooms. Please verify the room category if you require AC accommodations.
Tickets for the Periyar Wildlife Reserve are not included in the price and must be booked in advance before your travel.
Similar to Munnar, most hotels in Thekkady offer only non-AC rooms. Be sure to check the room category if you prefer AC rooms.
During hotel check-in, you may be asked to provide an advance or security deposit, the amount of which depends on the hotel's policy. This deposit will be refunded at check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (e.g., late check-out or damages to the room).
Admission tickets to attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safaris, etc., are not included unless explicitly stated as part of the package.
