The garden is spread over 12 acres and is situated on the banks of Dal Lake. Nishat Garden has five terraces that represent the five elements of Islamic cosmology. The highest terrace has a view of the snow-capped Pir Panjal mountains. Visitors can also take a boat ride on the Dal Lake to get a closer look at the Nishat Garden.

3. Pari Mahal, Srinagar
Pari Mahal, also known as the "Palace of the Fairies", is a five-story complex located on the Mughal Road in Srinagar. The structure was built in 1633 by Prince Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Emperor Shah Jahan and heir to the Mughal throne. The complex was used as a library and observatory, and it is said that Dara Shikoh spent many hours here studying astronomy and philosophy with his tutor, Mulla Shah.
