The Hunder Sand Dunes in Nubra Valley hold so many surprises for the visitors. Keep your eyes peeled for a lush, green valley that you can only find in Ladakh. You'll be amazed at how much different this landscape is from what you're expecting.
When you research the many remaining desert areas left in the world, it's hard to miss out on exploring Nubra Valley. The region is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful places that exist on Earth. Hunder Sand Dunes, for example, are famous for their unique white sand textures, which alternate with a river that snows during cooler winter months. As night falls and the sun sets into its evening red light against a backdrop of snow-topped mountains, this locale really makes you wonder how there could possibly be a place like this in our crazy world.
In July and September, Hunder Sand Dunes are the best places to visit.
